About Us

SOL-R Global Infrastructure specializes in acquiring the land that is rented to renewable energy producers for their solar farms.

Mission Statement

SOL-R Global Infrastructure is a key partner to all parties in the solar farm value chain by bringing capital, expertise and solutions to issues relating to the ownership of land under energy producing assets.

We operate in Southern Europe with a focus on 6 countries : Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus and France.

We acquire land under utility-scale solar parks with production capacity in excess of 4MWp.

Why Solar?

Solar energy is a growth business driven by (i) the need to produce more electricity given the fast-growing uses tied to electric vehicles, electronics, cooling and heating and hydrogen production and (ii) the gradual decommissioning of coal-fired power plants.

Forecasts by the International Energy Agency predict that, in Italy, Spain and France alone, additions of utility-scale solar will total 41.1GW over the next 5 years, a number roughly equal to the installations over the past 16 years.

Our Role

We aim to provide value to all parties in the value chain of solar farms (i) by providing a solution to developers for land acquisition, (ii) by enabling landowners to monetize their illiquid assets and (iii) by eliminating the need for energy producers to mobilize financial resources on non-amortizable capex.

Our Team

At SOL-R Global Infrastructure, we're driven by a vision of sustainable energy and a commitment to advancing renewable infrastructure. Meet the minds behind our company who have spearheaded our journey towards becoming a leading force in the renewable energy sector.
